Window Switcher
Switch between individual windows. Two Safari windows are two entries.
Jump back and forth between two Word documents.
⌘Tab in macOS switches between apps. But if Safari has six windows open, that doesn’t help you. ⌥Tab takes you straight to the window you were in before, and while you hold ⌥ you see every window with a preview.
- The window you used last is at the top, so one press is usually enough
- The previews need Screen Recording. You can also turn them off
The app has a short tutorial for this. In the settings window, click Try it on the spoon’s page or press Command 5 ⌘ 5 for Tutorials.
